Blue Mosque in Istanbul

Istanbul impressed us at every step, but the Blue Mosque us stuck in my memory because that exudes elegance, the entire landscape Sultanahmet Square.

It is located across the street from the Hagia Sophia Museum, Sultanahmet Square (Hippodrome Square) and is an important place of worship for residents and a popular attraction for tourists. It's called, in fact, Sultanahmet Mosque, but it is known as the Blue Mosque because of the approx. 21,000 ceramic tiles from Iznik (Nicaea) which decorates the interior and gives a blue color.
